In the past, we've learned about some of the history of the world. In this chapter, we've learned how the inhabitants came to the planet. We've also learned more about de'Valen and Agramos.

The end of the chapter was beautiful as we got to see the love that Jamie has for Christophe. They may not be blood related, but they are brothers.

And let's not forget our first look at Jamie's first encounter with Hippolito.
