movieguy Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 Grilled Italian Pork Burger Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients 1 lb lean ground pork 2 tb red wine 1 garlic clove; crushed 1 1/2 ts crushed fennel seed 1 salt and pepper, to taste 1 olive oil Instructions Italian seasonings make the all-American burger even better. In a medium bowl, mix together the pork, red wine, garlic, fennel seed, salt and pepper. Pat gently into 4 patties. Brush each patty lightly with olive oil. Place directly over hot coals on a kettle-style grill. Close grill hood and grill for 5 minutes, turn and cook on second side for 4 minutes. Serve with grilled Italian bread, if desired.
