Frederico Skwara, 17, bought Juliana Magalhaes, 15, a pregnant sheep called Waffle. He told Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper that he first asked Juliana's mother if she wanted a sheep in the family home. The mother, Marian Magalhaes, who lives in one of the city's busiest neighbourhoods, said: "I loved the idea instantly and gave him all the support."
