Spicy Sweet Potato Bread

Reynolds® Color Plastic Wrap

1/4 cup old fashioned oats, uncooked

2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon margarine or softened butter

1 package (15.4 oz.) nut bread mix

1/2 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup raisins

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 Egg

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Grease 8 1/2x4 1/2x2-inch loaf pan; set aside.

COMBINE oats, brown sugar and margarine in small bowl; set aside. In large bowl, combine nut bread mix, sweet potato, water, raisins, oil, egg, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over batter.

BAKE until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Place bread on a cutting board lined with a paper doily.

OVERWRAP the cutting board and bread with Reynolds Color Plastic Wrap. Tie with ribbon and attach an ornament.
