A 29-year-old female officer is accused of driving under the influence, and her boyfriend, a 35-year-old police officer is accused of obstruction of justice. Columbia Heights police say the two were arrested last night after the female officer drove her boyfriend's car into a parked pickup truck, which then crashed into another parked car. She is reported to have had a blood alcohol content of point-two-two, nearly three times the legal limit for driving. Police say her boyfriend was also intoxicated. Police reports say the female officer was agitated, and kicked and punched the windows of the police car she was arrested in. They say they arrested the male officer after he repeatedly tried to talk with his girlfriend and refused to follow instructions. He was Tasered twice.
