Bee Flies Into SUV, Causes Deadly Car Crash

(KUTV) CHESTER Co., Penn. - A head-on crash killed one man Thursday afternoon after a bee apparently flew into one of the cars and distracted the driver, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

The victim is a 34-year-old man from Pottstown, Pa. His name was not immediately released.

A 1997 Ford Explorer was headed north on Pottstown Pike when a bee apparently flew into his window and distracted him, officials said. His car then swerved into the southbound lanes and struck the victim's 1993 Dodge Dynasty.

The driver and a passenger inside the SUV were flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

The victim was taken to Pottstown Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
