SHEFFIELD, England (Wireless Flash) -- An English groom spent his wedding looking like Groucho Marx after gluing bits of an old black sock over his eyes to replace the eyebrows his buddies shaved off during his bachelor party. The 27-year-old's bride tells "The Sun" that she could have killed her husband when she saw how ridiculous he looked, but she finds the story funny now that the wedding is over.--

BERLIN -- Two nuns in Berlin turned detective after a thief stole a picture from their chapel. The sisters from St. Francis hospital tracked down the perpetrator -- who was trying to sell the stolen picture at a market -- then told the cops where to find him. "We wanted to do something to get our picture back," one of the nuns tells the "Berliner Zeitung" newspaper.

MIAMI -- Ebay bidders were willing to spend as much as $10 on wind from hurricane Frances that was "captured" in Tupperware. The storm set off a flurry of other sales including $7 for sand from Broward County, one cent vials of rainwater and several 15 cent bids to have a woman pray for hurricane survivors, according to the AP.

WASHINGTON -- Every year, the average U.S. motorist spends almost two days in rush-hour traffic, according to new statistics. The transportation institute at Texas A&M University found Los Angeles is the most traffic congested city in the U.S.: The average motorist there spends 93 hours stuck in peak-hour traffic. Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., drivers spend 67 hours stuck in traffic and New York City drivers get stuck for an average of 50 hours every year.
