TalonRider Posted August 11, 2006 Report Share Posted August 11, 2006 Aug 11, 2006 12:42 pm US/Mountain Bee Flies Into SUV, Causes Deadly Car Crash (KUTV) CHESTER Co., Penn. - A head-on crash killed one man Thursday afternoon after a bee apparently flew into one of the cars and distracted the driver, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. The victim is a 34-year-old man from Pottstown, Pa. His name was not immediately released. A 1997 Ford Explorer was headed north on Pottstown Pike when a bee apparently flew into his window and distracted him, officials said. His car then swerved into the southbound lanes and struck the victim's 1993 Dodge Dynasty. The driver and a passenger inside the SUV were flown to the hospital with serious injuries. The victim was taken to Pottstown Hospital where he was pronounced dead. (© MMVI, CBS Broadcasting Inc. All Rights Reserved.) This particular Hiway, Rt. 100, is notorious for accidents.
