movieguy Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 Banana Caramel Bread Pudding 12 Slices Cinnamon-Raisin Bread - toasted and cubed 1/4 cup Butter, melted 2 Medium Bananas, sliced 1/3 cup Sugar 3 Eggs 1 tsp Cinnamon 26 Caramels, unwrapped 1 cup Milk Heat oven to 350˚. Butter a 9-inch square baking dish, layer with half of the bread cubes. Top with bananas, remaining bread cubes and caramels. In a separate bowl beat eggs until thick and lemon-colored. Add milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon and mix well. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread cubes. Bake for 35 minutes. Reduce heat to 300˚ and bake for 15 to 20 minutes – or until center is set.
