The group Leashes & Lovers is inviting the LGBT community to come out to their "poop and cruise" event August 25 with their dogs. Group co-founder Michelle Kennedy says dogs are great ice breakers, and they also knock down egos and make people more approachable. Dogs worked for Kennedy. She says she met her husband at a dog event.
