  1. Was it significant for the story plot? Perhaps not, but as Jamie does so well, it trims off another loose thread making this package clean and complete. It solidifies the passing of time in the settlement. That point where the gods of the past become true legend. I think it was important.

I think it was nice that we got to get a glimpse of how things went for the Kalorians thru the eyes of Larrus.

My only hope is that Charlie and his mates joining is made a large event and not brushed aside as a minor subplot. Their love has been chased and yet intense. I think the emotion of their Joining would be a senseless waste were it not exploited. Perhaps a Joining in the midst of the war. An untrampled fragile tulip standing in the midst of a smoldering battlefield so to speak. Their needs to be resolution to their suffering without each other.

Charlie and Giovanni are already mated. It was in Chapter 37 that Jamie and Nic mated. Tho it was days later, chapter 37 ends with Giovanni saying this to Charlie, "Synne flona te•torré."

  2. To add a little more to what Ricky has said, Jamie once told me that the purpose of the Interludes is to give us information that fits into the story but may not have a proper spot in the story. One example would be when Prof. Black and his assistant broke into the crypt to get the DNA that would be used to create Jamie.

Another example is the Interlude chapters about the mysterious chamber and what we later learned was the stasis unit that brought us Charlie.

Now granted, the Interlude chapters are shorter than the normal story chapters, they still provide us with information that ties into the whole saga.

I was happy to catch a glimpse of what happened in Taldor Valoren a few years after the Night of Flight.

I will tell you that Silver is going to answer a question or two when it is posted.

  3. This list has been around and in my possession for few years. It's also considered one of the extras, like the map and the orbs.

Recently I got to thinking about the chapters that we've been introduced to various Duets. With the conclusion to Part 3, I asked Jamie about posting the list and he agreed with it. Some of them have been mentioned several time while some only once, and some not at all. At least now, we know who they all are.

Only Jamie knows if we will see more of them in the future.

  5. I know I've not added any names to the list for some time now, mainly due to the days name being given after I've gotten in to work. On Monday, John announced that Friday, May 27, 2011 will be the last day. He's been doing the bit on his radio show since 2002 and it time to bring it to an end and move on to something else. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch the last name given. He say's he's been waiting a long time to use the name.
